Samsung Note 7: Companies Around US Resuming Sales

After the first batch of Galaxy Note 7 phones sold or just shipped around the world (about 2.5 million units) had to be recalled by Samsung because they packed potentially defective batteries ,there were various reports of Note 7s catching fire while charging, prompting Samsung to stop sales around the globe and issue an unprecedented recall. But things are better now, and over 1 million customers are already using new, safe Galaxy Note 7 handsets, after exchanging their potentially flawed units.

Almost two weeks after US operators Verizon and Sprint resumed sales of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 in the US, T-Mobile is now also ready to re-launch the handset. The carrier will start sales of Note 7 again later this week, on October 5, both online, and in stores nationwide. The Galaxy Note 7 that T-Mobile will have in stock come October 5 is a safe one featuring a new battery that isn't in danger of catching fire.
